General Privacy Policy Statement and Practices
High Touch Entertainment, LLC. ("HTE") is concerned about the privacy of subscribers,
members, donors, volunteers, and others. Under no circumstances does HTE share user
information with third parties.
Collection of Contact Information
Collection of contact information is performed by the HTE contact page which is provided for
the purpose of improving ScienceMadeFunKids.net through suggestions, E-News signups, and
receipt of contact information for business relationships with adults only.
Communication with Children
HTE staff will not contact users under 18 years of age for any reason. Email received from
such users will only be used for HTE reference in creating an enjoyable experience for
children.
E-mail Communications
HTE sends email communications to current and past program participants, volunteers,
subscribers, and other individuals or organizations upon request. Every bulk email includes
an "unsubscribe" link that will allow the recipient to decline all future email communication
from HTE. Using this method, removal from all lists is immediate. Replying directly to the
email, rather than using the unsubscribe form, may require up to 5 business days to process.
The only instance where an "unsubscribe" link would not be included in the footer would be an
email sent as direct correspondence from an HTE staff person. The user should respond
directly back to the individual staff person if the user prefers to be removed from future
communication.
Web-Specific Privacy Policy Statement and Practices
HTE collects information about the users of the ScienceMadeFunKids.net websites in order to
assist in determining which parts of ScienceMadeFunKids.net visitors find most valuable. This
allows HTE to continually improve the services it provides. For example, HTE may track the
URL that users visited before the user came to the website, the URL to which users next go,
as well as users' IP addresses. HTE uses Users' IP addresses to help diagnose problems with
HTE's servers and to administer the Websites.
Contests
HTE periodically holds contests encouraging the participation of individuals under 18 years
of age. In the event that an individual under 18 years of age submits their email address to
enter a contest, HTE will contact them only if they are selected as the winner. Email
addresses collected for contests will not be used to contact participants for any other
reason. Parent/Guardian permission is required for contest participation.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
HTE will occasionally update this policy. Any changes to this policy will be posted on
ScienceMadeFunKids.net to help ensure that users are aware of what information
ScienceMadeFunKids.net gather, how that information might be used, and whether
ScienceMadeFunKids.net will disclose it to anyone. The terms "You" and "User" are used to
refer to anyone who is accessing the ScienceMadeFunKIDS.net websites.
